Our team is made up of Veterans and those who appreciate Veterans. When our brothers and sisters in arms are in need, we want to be there providing support for their physical, mental and emotional health. We do that through specific efforts that promote food security, suicide awareness, disaster relief and recovery, and healthcare literacy and access.
Serving Veterans and Local Communities in the Mississippi Delta and Beyond
The Mississippi Delta is one of the most poverty-stricken rural areas in America, with poverty rates in many counties as high as 30% to 40%, compared to the national average of about 15%. Challenges such as limited job opportunities, low wages, and a lack of healthcare access continue to impact the region. Yet, its culture teaches compassion, strong work ethic, and the importance of sharing.
With support from Together with Veteran’s MS Delta, Boots to Beyond aims to be part of the solution—bridging the gap by empowering communities, turning these cultural strengths into action that uplifts and transforms lives.
